Last night was our January Pagan Night out. It was a nice to spend the evening relaxing and talking with everyone about all things Pagan. I like to watch how we start off talking about one thing and the conversation evolves on it's own through out the night so we touch on many subjects. I love listening to others about their beliefs because it affords me the opportunity to learn.
The first weekend in February we will be attending the Magickal Hibernation indoor festival at the Lake of the Ozarks presented by Ozark Avalon. Joyce and River Higginbotham will be there, Aislin Firehawk, Jeluna of 13 Moons, Mickie Mueller will be in attendance with her beautiful artwork, and there will be Drumming (we like Drumming). We are so excited! If anyone from the Waynesville-Ft.Wood area would like to caravan with us just let me know, you are more than welcome.
We are still in the throes of winter, but there are many things going on behind the scenes for those warmer days of summer. The emails are out about the 16th Annual St. Louis Pagan Picnic and if you had an inkling of going but have yet to do so this would be the year to attend! Authors M.R. Sellars, Dorothy Morrison, Ellen Dugan, Tish Owne and W. Lyon Martin will be presenting workshops this year. You will walk away from these people going "Wow! That was awesome! Can we do it again?" Artist Mickie Mueller will return and music guests for this year will be Morning Vision Blue & Shoca. We can't wait for June!
We are also making plans for our Summer Study Group and the first Pagan Pride Day to be held in Waynesville! There will be a lot going on in the Summer of 2008!
Until then, we hope you stay warm. Members of SRC would like to wish you all a very Merry Candlemas-Imbolog-Groundhog Day!
Merry Meet All! The next Pagan Night Out for Waynesville MO will be next Saturday January 19th. Take a break for yourself by joining us for a couple hours of just hanging out with the local Pagans and others of a like-mind.
The weather in Missouri can be very unpredictable as some of you well know. December's Pagan Night Out was greeted with a snow storm, last Monday we had tornados. In the event of questionable weather a decision is made by 4:00 P.M. to cancel or continue. If you have any questions please contact Lady Devin.
We just wanted to thank Yarrow Coven, all their helpers, Raven & Stephanie Grimassi, Ellen Dugan, M R Sellars, Micki Mueller, Mike Nichols and everyone else involved in helping to make the picnic a wonderful event to attend!
We enjoyed giving the workshops as well as attending them. We had such a great time at the picnic as always and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
